Hi all

Going through a stack of old coins and nothing of interest to note except for a 1948 half penny with a highly reflective surface really stood out compared to all other coins.

The head side is not reflective however. Has someone just attempted to polish it?

Not the greatest photos but have tried to capture the reflectiveness of the light

Appreciate any advice

Looks like someone tried to get rid of the green stuff by polishing
