I recently purchased a roll of nickels from the bank. It was a bank roll. When I opened it I was surprised to find that all the nickels were 2019d nickels that looked as if they were uncirulated. Could this be possible?

It's just that I've been getting rolled coins for about two years now, and I've never gotten rolls like this before. Thanks for the info. Any idea what uncirulated 2019d nickels are worth?

My first instinct was to say you probably won't get above face value for these, but ebay sold listings show they have sold for a premium. That being said, after ebay & Paypal fee and shipping charges, you aren't going to get rich from selling them.

Although most banks tend to give out customer wrapped rolls to those asking for one or two rolls, occasionally a current year may be grabbed from the vault. Or so that's the case with mine unless I specify. As for a value? Since I'm on the east coast getting Denver mint coins in high grade from circulation is near impossible. Therefore, I buy from a coin dealer who sells them for sixty cents.

Yes, quite possible. Among other denominations, I search nickel coin rolls--many of them commercially wrapped. On occasion, I've come across full rolls of BU/mint condition coins--solid year and date.

Of course it's possible it's only 2020. There's probably tons of BU 2019D rolls out there.

Ballyhoo, that's what is rare about these rolls, I to live in the east, in a small town. I always ask for bankrolls if they have them and they always give them to me.good luck and thanks for the reply.

Get enough rolls to fill a small flat rate box and you'll be in business on ebay
