coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/20/2020 6:37 pm It is a common form of doubling caused by the machine after the strike. No premium. On a doubled die, the doubling is on the die and not created by the machine. MD can even happen on a doubled die, the same way it does on a normal die. But MD doesn't increase the value of a doubled die. (Most true collectors don't want a doubled die with Machine Doubling) But the third party graders do not acknowledge the presence of MD on a coin. They consider it as a normal event that happens on a coin. No premium. Just a spender coin. Report this Post to the Staff
