To be fair, it's value comes from it's rarity and the unusual Persian legend. Since the coin is anonymous and cites only al-Mustansir (1226-1242), one cannot say with certainty that it was not issued by Chingiz (1206-1227), only that it is much more likely to have been issued under Ogedei (1227-1241). This type will appeal to an advanced collector who knows exactly what he is buying. There are more common, less inexpensive coins attributed to Chingiz available for those who want a representative coin. Some sellers appreciate a 'heads up', others don't. It's all you can do.
