I know theirs some damage on this coin, but this looks very familiar to the doubling on Lincoln's Fingers on the 2009 Pennies? Thoughts...Also noted a bit of Cud around the jacket possibly from a die break? Thanks!
@wbr, in terms of Frederick Douglas' fingers, I think that the extra finger is just damage continuing on from the gouge continuing on from just above the initials TRH. However, the reverse also seems to show a slight mis-aligned die.

Die chip on the collar. Not a Die Cud. A Cud involves the outside edge of the die breaking off the of die. Cuds are end of life events that happen on dies. Chips happen many times during a dies normal life span.
