Hello peeps!
My question to the group is this...
http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.c...1921-P_PROOFAccording to VAMWorld 2.0, the article regarding the Chapman proof gives some direction to research in. Two die crack locations (above the first "T" in state and a crack on the left side of the right star on the reverse) seem to be the telltale signs to look for plus the fact that the coin must only possess 16 berries on the C4 reverse.
Now according to the PCGS web site on the Chapman proof Morgan, a mr Ron Guth wrote that even tho the story is told that "...10 to 15 proofs where created, PCGS has graded nearly 40 coins since 2014."
My questions are these, does the
VAM article claim that both die cracks are needed to be present or just one or the other qualifies the coin?
Has anyone seen these proofs below a PS63?
Any help here is greatly appreciated
