I found this penny roll hinting g I am new at this started for my three year old. The date looks like it's been smashed or something g and there like 3 scratch Mark's under it. I think it's very cool and rare am I correct.

unfortunately, I think that is damage, your picture is a bit blurry though. If you are taking the photos with your phone make sure to take them in landscape or edit them before using the optimizer so they don't get rotated.

@c4ms, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes this coin has been damaged and does not have a mint error (at least based on the amount of coin visible). It is worth face value.
