Is this a 1916 D Lincoln Cent die? Purchased a 10lb bag of indian head nickels off of facebook market. Half way through the nickels and found this. Made of steel. I can upload more pics if that helps. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I appreciate your opinion. My pic is not the greatest. The photo makes it look larger then the coin. It's the angle I took the photo from. Will upload photo and measurements.

The real dies are nothing like that.

That is what you would expect for a fake soft die, but even then a soft die is usually only a smaller portion of the face of the coin and would be a lot smaller. Looks like a pot metal pour.
