So, I have about 250 1964 JFK silver dollars. My hope is that somewhere along the way I will find a rare one. What are the odds that one of these is likely to be one?

To CCF , Nice amount of 90% silver . Those are Half Dollars not Dollars . Others members will chime in and tell you what to look for in those .

Wow. Quite a collection Bcl. Like T-BOP mentioned, someone will be along that will know what to look for.

Here's a link I found that mentions two or three errors or varieties in 1964 to look for.

A lot of things happen that year. You need to read the site on what to look for on these:

You could have DDO, DDR or RPMs. These are listed on these sites. Also note on the Bottom site, there were some that look like doubled dies, but are a different issue. I would still save them for another time, but that is a place to start.
