I recently purchased an NGC graded 1568 GS Taler
I can verify it was graded by NGC but unable to find any census data
in their database pre 1600? Does anyone know why this is,I was under the impression every coin they graded was then entered into the NGC census database. Thanks for any info

I just had a look at their site, and it looks like their pop reports only go back to 1601.

also I dont understand the NGC world coin price guide? it seems inconsistent

The World Coin Price Guide is a complete catalog of values for World coins from 1600 to date. Created by NGC and Krause Publications' NumisMaster, the price guide pages are arranged by Krause catalog numbers and include values, images and specifications such as weight, composition, engraver and current bullion values.
but yet ? this link lists this coin 1553-1574
