Found this cool penny.. never seen any quite like it. It is a 1971 S and it looks like it has a bunch of tiny letters and numbers stacked all over the rim and down the center of Lincoln himself. Just wondering if this is common or worth anything? Thanks

to the CCF!

It looks like Post Strike Damage, PSD. It could have been run over by a tire that pressed the obverse into the pavement.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

It's damage, worth 1 cent.
No way that could happen during the striking of the coin.

Be careful. Looks like Lincoln has small pox.

I don't think that a tire could have cause the tiny letters and numbers. I'll try to get a closer and more clear pic.

Save the best, spend the rest. This one I would have put back to work with out even a look. If it were some that was collectable, the condition would prevent me from saving it. So I wouldn't even look. When I see a coin that if it were something I would not buy, I put it back to work. Save the best, spend the rest.
