I now have acquired 42 of the coins in the set. I have all the Copper Nickel dates and three dates in the expensive seventies - 74, 75, and 79. I am now pretty much left with the more expensive keys and semi-keys so I will probably rest awhile, especially given the dismal outlook for the economy and my need not to be broke. After all I still don't have the 1914-D and 1909-S VDB Lincolns to finish that set. Before putting this folder back in the bank box, I did pick up a pretty nice 1908-S on ebay. Here are the pictures:

Speaking of just getting a batch of IHC, I have seen a bowl of then in "my Fontana coin Shop", and they were marked @ $1.75 ea. I was not into IHC at the time, but am now. The prece was high, as far as I was concerned, so I didn't get them, However, I was there today, and they had jumped to $1.95/ea. They must be getting very hot! I grabbed what was there, (90), and consider myself lucky that I didn't wait longer! I had just returned a box of quarters, so I could splurge! I hope I beat the traffic. The coins run from 1880-1908. No "S" five of them went in to my folder! I got two more folders to accomadate the rest.

I recommend that everybody who is interested assemble a short set of Indian Head cents from 1866-1878. If you're patient you can find most of them in G or VG condition on ebay for under $50. Not the 1877 of course...
