I have been promising pictures since my computer crashed and other issues with downloading pictures, mainly My camera has an XD card and my computer only has an SD slot. Finally found the correct accessory that actually reads an XD Card with out erasing all my photos. Here is the first of many pictures I will be posting... These 2- 5 gallon buckets are about half full ea. of coins that are going to be dumped at the bank. I decided to dump all pennies, nickels, dime and quarters, that I wasn't keeping in my albums, from 1980 to date. I am undecided what I am going to do with my Kennedy halves, and all small dollars and large dollars, For now I will keep them. Dump Qtys 5220 pennies, 3475 nickels, 2463 dimes, & 3569 quarters I did keep some quarters to use at the car wash that are not included in this count..

That's a heck of a lot of pocket change . How long did it take to accumulate all those coins ? are they the left over non collector coins from CRH ?

Oooo shiny! You'll be surprised how much cash that is. We had about $7,000 in unc State Quarters to cash in. The bank would only take so much at a time until they were gone. The car could only haul so much too. All that is left is a roll set (50 rolls of unc State Quarters) which is $500.00. I'm not in love with them either but it's either somebody will pay a little over face, or we'll save them for a rainy day.

Some of it is from saving my change for 20+ years, some of it is from coin roll hunting. I don't spend my change, I toss it in a jar and at the end of each year, I go thru it and see what I want or need to keep. I'll start taking these to the bank and depositing them into my checking account instead of hoarding them. Maybe, I'll turn that money around and buy the 1909 S VDB's I need.

I was going thru some of my notes before they hit the shredder and was reminded that on top of the inventoried coins I dumped into these buckets, I had some bags of coins from CRH that were searched but not inventoried so the coin #'s posted above are not correct. I might bring out my coin counter and count these as I take to the bank just for the heck of it. The first bag of coins go to the bank Friday, I told my teller today to be ready. LOL

So much money just sitting around. Could have been used to buy coins you needed or want.

I had some other cash set aside for that, but I needed to use that to buy a new tractor, that I needed more than coins. Now I am cashing in the coins to put back into my coin fund again. And I am looking to fill the (3) 1909 S VDB holes in my penny albums. First trip to the bank was $419 & change Todays trip was $604 & change deposited into my account. My teller asked me to give it a week or so break before I brought any more coins in. She smilingly said, they had coins coming out their ears....
