NBS commissioned Lianna Spurrier to produce a quarterly podcast for NBS. Below are NBS Bibliotalk Podcast:
https://www.coinbooks.org/Episode 1 - Louisville vs. Lawrenceville with Joel Orosz lots of collecting and book preservation tips given in this episode along with memories of Ken Lowe. I am very sad I never knew Ken personally, as we seem to be two peas from the same pod. I highly recommend reading his "Out on a Limb" short journals (21 volumes) available at the NNP. Really fantastic reads for the book lovers and researchers, Ken tells wonderful stories of trips to coin shows, dinners with friends, all mixed up in a whirlwind of numismatic books and tales.
Episode 2 - 300 Linear feet of Books with George Kolbe, numismatic bookdealer extraordinaire discuss books and his life collecting and selling the finest numismatic books known.
NBS Podcasts are also on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and Spotify.
I'm not sure how this slipped by me as I missed the initial announcement, but sure am glad I it didn't stay hidden from me for long. Please consider joining the NBS if you enjoy coin books and literature, it helps us maintain the wonderful Asylum quarterly journal, the E-Sylum free mailing by Wayne Homren, the website and now this podcast. The NBS is always innovating and leading the way of coin clubs, this podcast is just another great example.
Thank you. Westcoin
