Not to be the bearer of bad news but Krause Publications has filed for bankruptcy, which is why we aren't seeing any new titles or reprints coming from them at this time.
https://coinsweekly.com/the-end-of-...ublications/The real problem is the magazine side of the business I would think. The issues keep shrinking in size of content, ad revenue is down - way down, only big firms advertise it seems, they have to come out every month and that takes a large staff, mailing costs keep increasing, online publishing is not something they were quick to get into.
Krause (now F+W) produce magazines for (many) craft and hobby areas, a couple areas I am also interested in, (Astronomy and Model Trains) which they produce, are also way down in advertising revenue.
For example y old company (astronomy related) used to spend $50,000 every month on magazine ads minimum, double or more during holiday times. They have not run an ad that cost more than $500/month in more than 6 years now. Times that by almost a dozen similar business and you can see how their magazine business is really hurting.
Books? A different beast, which I know little about in how the revenue stream is structured. But no company going through a bankruptcy, is going to continue running the "same as usual" so reprints and new books are all probably on indefinite hold or have been cancelled outright by the overseers of the bankruptcy.
I hope F+W Publications can find the formula to keep Krause going into the future. I'm crossing my fingers, but I'm also a realist, they may likely be gone in a year. If so, that will be a huge loss to our hobby and Astronomy among the other areas they are in. However I'm sure a publisher will acquire the rights to their catalog of books, and someday we may see other editions of Krause books. But the most popular titles will come first like the World Coin Books, Banknotes, etc. Strike it rich may never come out. An alternative might be for Ken and Brian (authors) to get the rights back and self publish it paper and even electronically.
For the best and most up to date information on error coins I would seriously look into joining CONECA. You get a better monthly magazine, they have a huge library of back issues to draw information from, and the club is where all like minded error collectors will be, both at major conventions and online in their forums. Just to make it sweeter the authors of Strike it Rich are also members and participate in the club magazine Errorscope regularly.
https://conecaonline.org/Owens519 - sorry you have found some of the CCF to be jerks or dismissive, I found it to be the opposite of that for the most part, but I see you post in areas I don't really frequent, I stay on the pre 1933 side of
US coinage for the most part. I know there are some good modern coin collecting CCF folks on here that are pretty helpful "jbuck" being one of my favorites! You'll find me around threads on
Two Cent Pieces, crazy old
US coins of distinction and US Coin books.
