please post each coin in a separate thread. its easier for my little brain to work with.
84CC - bold strike which is typical for this one. definite PL qualities. surface preservation is very good with some minor contact abrasions. this is a sweet coin. MS66PL
78CC - typically bold in strike the reverse on this one is a little short of that with a mushy breast. the reverse photo may not be accurate as the lighting is making it appear that the coin may have had a dip. I'm going with its just the photo and not the coin. MS65
85CC - typically bold also. i'd say the strike is decent but the reverse photo is too small to really see the details. MS64

I'm surprised that 78-CC got a 65 grade with that large gash on Liberty's jaw.

Thanks for the input and additional opinions. I'm still learning a bit about grading as I build a Morgan collection so I was interested to see what others had to say about these specific coins. It may show better in the new photo but the 1878 obverse almost appears cloudy. I'm still perplexed if that's what hit the grade so hard on it. Anyway, thanks for the thought on these coins, much appreciated. The actual grades with photos are below. Thanks for the warm welcome again.
