Hello CCF. I have A LOT of Q's with this one..please help with all of the "goings on" with this penny? ? Thanks all. 1a) obverse with doubled devices? 1b) date? 1c) LIBERTY? 1d) face (forehead) down to nose and chin? Doubled? And are those all scattered die chips? 1e) LOOK at the EARLOBE ! ! Doubled? ? 2a) NOW how about the several Die Cracks (vertical on ear) is one set (going from the ear, down the neck (towards upper back) 2b) and then another set of die crack patterns 2b) from a sideway view you can see a different set of cracks going down from ear, down the right cheek and chin area and beyond 3a) reverse -- what is that called (happening on the left side and right side of building)? 3b) are these doubled devices (look at "CA" in AMERICA)

I am seeing die scratches, not cracks. I see DDD not a doubled die. I see split copper plating. Your coin is spendable. John1

Thanks for the fast analyses @John1 (thumbs up). What is that on his earlobe called? Not all pennies have this?

And the acne: It is plating over zinc dust. I thought they figured that out a few years before that. Kind of a lot of ugly on one coin. LOL

It's a die scratch. As I said before, it's a spender unfortunately.
Errers and Varietys.
