Hello everyone. I have been looking high and low trying to figure out what type of error this penny has on the D. It seems to be filled in completely and level of not raised slightly with the rest of the letter.

This is a so-called "broken post" die chip. Not common for this date, but very little if any premium I'm guessing.

@dc96, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes that coin was struck with a die that had a broken post on the mintmark. Interesting to find, but no premium for this. Also, I'm going to move your thread over to the correct subforum within CCF.
