i cant find any info on this penny on coppercoins. it looks like the 9 is doubled

It could be from over polishing but my best guess would be small die chip.

I believe it's some form of Die Deterioration. I got a set of 1956P & 1956D in the mail today. I bought it because the 1956D has a doubled eyelid. Both coins from both mints have this same anomaly.
