I've been doing a little research on this Chinese coin from Kiang Nan. I believe it is a 5 Cents (3.6 Candareens), but I'm not sure what date it is. The coin weighs 1.5 grams and has a diameter of 1.5 centimeters. Thank you for any advice or information you have about it.

In Krause's World Coins 19th century this matches Y#141a, as you say a 5 cents or 3.6 candareens of the Chinese empire under Kuang-Hsu in Kiangnan. It says these were minted from 1898-1901 (I'm not sure how to tell the exact date) and are 0.820 silver. I think authentic ones weigh 1.30 g. You might want to run some silver tests on your coin. The appearance and weight might cast some doubt on it, though it looks like it has believable wear.

True however I'm concern about the about the die wear of this coin (the strike looks to me like the die is very close to end of life). However not knowledgeable enough to give an informed opinion on this, but I point out bit of rim finning and die cracking.
