Just got a few proof coins I was checking over for errors or doubling...

New to looking at proof coins, just wanted to get some other opinions about whether this may hub doubled or MD?

I think the coin has obv & reverse die dents?

Also, is this a DCAM? It mirrors like a proof but doesn't have the white devices...it just has mirror like shine on entire coin...

Thanks - delving into new territory ;)

Extra large image. Do not open on phones.
Your coin looks like a normal proof coin, not a Cameo or D-Cam.
Cameo:

Normal:
PR-68 $17 PCGS SRP

Not worth grading even at PR-68

Gotcha... Thanks Coop!

I see it has a high 68 POP ;) It is a nice coin. And just got a few of my first proof in hand and under a scope... I started out with and have mostly been looking at business strikes and circulated coins.

Just trying to learn more about proof coins and difference between DCAM and CAM and reg proof coins for various years. Thanks for the info!

Proof coins often show a slight doubling because they were impressed twice.

I liked buying the cello proofs for doubled dies on nickels. They were cheaper than cello proof cents. But the 1960's nickels in cello had some that were turning in color. Nice doubled dies when you find them.

Not a problem. As it brings my older posts back to the forum. So when you see something on these other links, comment on that thread and others can re-read/read for the first time, something that was posted before. It all good. I like it when I get asked for a clarification, as I get to re-think a better way to present the subject. It keeps the dust off the brain cells.
