1973 D Penny Obverse Colum Error

The column on the building is squiggly and in the upper left corner looks like a bulge runs up to it then slightly overlaps the building left top corner.

@eu, that column on the reverse does look kinda squiggly. However, rather than being a mint error, it is damage that occurred after the coin was struck.

Thank you Spence ..I thought it was really cool but I didn't see how a die ? Could make this kind of error..and I don't know much ..about coins anyhoo..like saying obverse instead of reverse #128558; and VDB instead of DVB ..good grief ..#128517;

Spence I don't think he is just referring to the PMD squiggly column... He is also talking about the "bulge" in the 1st 2-3 columns and above the roof line on the left...

It is not a clash... but a dent in die? Not sure what to call it...

Recurring die subsistence error. Basically I feel the dies were not tempered correctly and this happened on several dies that year. Who ever must have messed up then, didn't let it happen again. (Well until the next century)
