So. This past month I got a bonus, made a good bit of extra money on a side thing and tax return. Thats how I was able to get my 09S VDB and catch up on some modern stuff.

Sooooooooo, tonight I did another thing. ebay is flipping dangerous sometimes...

As a side note, I DID pay a number of bills extra as well. So I wasnt TOTALLY bad with my money.

Nice pickup! Straight honest coin. Would love one myself but can't find one at a good price.

There were a few at that price point that werent bad. If you can go to 500, there were a couple really nice goods between 4 and 500.

You didn't do bad on a key coin in the set. Nice pickup.

A very nice addition.

Every time I get a little jingle in my PayPal account, I start looking for something I've been wanting. We're all in the same boat there.

Congrats!! I spent some of my bonus on coins also :) sometimes you just have to get ones you want! Nice pickup on a key date!

This place is like a dieters convention in which every other stand shows a more juicer morsel. Here you have your filets, shrimp toast, champagne, lobster tails, sliders, ribs, gourmet cheese, fresh warm bread and butter and then you think you are fine and then you hit the desert rooms. Yep don't come here and not expect to be tempted

I've always wanted one, but there have always been other distractions. The holy grail of Indian cents.

Much better to spend that sort of money on your coin collection than drugs or fast cars or fast women!

LOL Thank you all gentlemen. I truly do look at it as investment. Modern coins, not so much, though I do love collecting them. Them I look at as lost money with certain exceptions.

Actually no. I need a good number of others including the 08S and 09S. I do indeed need 8 over 7, but that one will wait a LONG time if ever I think. I do have a 66 over 66 in the 66 slot though. I had the extra money and decided to get it out of the way. That 09 S is going to be killer as well.

Holes are 71, 72, 74, 76, 78 and the aforementioned 08S and 09S. There is also a hole for an 1869/8, but not one for the 8/7. This is my dads old Whitman album from 1960 I am filling.

This is the album. The silver dots are the coins my dad had put in this from roll searching.
