I was looking some 10 cents 1994 for tool damage on reverse side but I found on this one what could be trail dies on the left hand side of the coin (reverse side). What do you think about it?

Thanks

Why would you consider this to be a trial die ?

I dont think he means Trial, I'm assuming OP means Trail like a path. From the looks of the pic its too blurry to tell but to me it looks like a finger print IMO

You are correct, but never heard of a trail die, I just think some collectors are trying too hard to imagine or see small imperfections on circulating coins, they are not made to be perfect, just a so called OK standard to serve it's purpose.

They are not fingers prints. Take a look to this post for tool damage on 1994 dime:

http://goccf.com/t/366974&SearchTerms=1994

Go down and find the coin number 4 picture. You can see the begining of the trail dies on the beads too. The post is not from me and the coin is not mine too so I can't put my fingers on both coins...

You can find trail dies on canadian coins 5 cents 1953, 50 cents 1996, 50 cents 1968, dollar 1973 and now I think 1994 may be a year to add.

I'm well aware of what a trail die is but for those who don't those are some good links you posted.

I cant really say this is or is not, but your photo is not clear enough to make any kind of determination. If you can provide a better photo with the coin out of the 2x2 we may have a better idea of what we are looking at. From my standpoint it could be something as simple as a fingerprint on the 2x2 plastic, or there very well could be trail dies on the surface, but right now you cant really tell anything with the photo you have provided IMO.

I can't tell from the photo provided. Photographing trail dies is tricky, try removing it from the 2x2 flip.

Here's is a closer one. The tool damage are between the ship mast and in front of it. The trail have a different angle.

I change my light in office for LED and I have to learn to do my picture

Here's a picture from a past post from a different memeber. The subject was tool damade on the 1994 rev. The picture of coin #4 in this topic have the same trail:
