Here is a Dollar coin I got from a change machine. I have another penny just like this a month ago or so and I just threw it away. I thought someone was just mad at the penny to have it scratch like that but now I got another coin that is just like it. Anybody seen something like this or know what it is?

Coin is damaged. 99% of the time when a mark is incuse on a coin, it is damage. 1% of the time it is a mint error.

whatever it is. it's not damage by hand. Both coins look very similar with all the scraps in the middle and on the edge.

Purposely damaged, could be a dremel, grinder or file.

All PSD. Not an error coin. Just a damaged coin.
