I found this bill at work. At first I thought it was a crease, but it's not. It also doesn't seem like a stamp could make that mark.

What sort of value would this have if it is a mint error?

I appreciate any help.

My apologies as I am completely new to this site and the entire subject. I think I'll get the topic posted, but will be lucky if I can get the pictures to attach.

I also encountered a second bill next to this one that has this serial number. Mf 10155151 .... Is that worthy of anything, or let the bank have it?

Sorry I intended to post a close up. Not sure what went wrong. Maybe it will work this time.

Welcome to CCF.

The mint produces coins and medals and not our paper currency, but I know what you're getting at. The note appears to have post Bureau of Engraving and Printing damage and is generally in poor shape. I'm unable to see any premium for this note, sorry.

I appreciate everyone's knowledge and responses! I feel a little silly that all these years I had not given much attention to all the little nuances of our currency, or to what Dept. Printed the paper and the coins! I won't forget that info, that's for sure. I wonder how many interesting things I overlooked and sent back to the bank.
Thanks again.
