Hello and thanks for any help or information one would be willing to give. I have searched on the internet for anything about errors on the 2015-D Nickel. Nothing I have found looks anything like the nickel I found in my jug. I am hoping to find some information on why it looks like it does or if it is an error of some sort. Thanks Chris

Some sort of environmental damage, possibly from mild acid etching. PMD, not an error.

To CCF! My guess is that it's a Dryer Coin.

I would guess environmental damage, it looks acid eaten to me, I would say most probably a car drink holder coin that sat in some coke.

Thanks everyone for your input. Was hoping I found something rare but I wasn't holding my breath which was obviously a good thing.
