Nice 2000-P DDR, Worthless

Found this over the weekend. Believe it to be 2000P-1DR-003. Have any of the cent collectors given any thought to what your copper/zinc coins are going to look like in twenty years. Anyone come up with a way of conserving these coins? I've noticed even in unopened proof sets the corrosion from the die splits around lettering gets worse with time. Getting off track here. Just curious.

Encase in acrylic, let harden, and hope that all moisture was removed.

If the cents are found and properly stored before environmental damage occurs, I have yet to see one that corrodes after such storage takes place. 99% of the environmental damage that causes these to corrode comes from general circulation or imporper storage.
