Date looks about right, I would like to see a close-up of the MM area as it looks as though there could be something funny going on there. Don't see very many circulated kings...

Reported, if only for declaring it's graded by ANACS.

I'm thinking tooled, but, it does look genuine-ish. Date looks right, denticles look right. I actually think it's genuine, which is really sad. Polished and rim damaged. If it wasn't cleaned or damaged the 25k price tag would be reasonable. Now, I'd price it at around $6k at max.

What a load that certificate number he says is for a VG 1895 S ANACS coin . Just check ANACS verification ! Coin is worth south of $300 . That is no real 1895 P Morgan, reported!

Did you see that it has one bid. And the person that bid on it has only bid once and it's on this coin. My bet it gets retracted before the end.

Real coin but altered to remove the "S" mintmark.
Hopefully, it'll get pulled later today.

It's real in my opinion, a real 1895-O with the mint mark removed. It's a far date position set low. There is an obverse proof die with a far date position but it is not set low.

Wow what do you know .. Everything about this coin disappeared. If I am right that happened about 2 min before the end of the auction. I had a page open waiting for it to end, then when I looked at it it said 2 mins to go , so I refreshed the page and it was gone.

Looks like it's up on ebay again, this time as Item # 264679342200. Pictures are pretty bad. I think I can see a faint "S" mintmark. I believe another member verified the previous listing verification number as belonging to an "S" mint ANACS coin earlier in this thread. This time it has a PCGS serial number for a PF 50 coin. Same Seller: carolinecaroline2011 27000$ BIN or best offer. Think I'll pass! Reported; hopefully it'll get taken down again before it ends.

definitely need to steer clear of that seller... I wish ebay would let buyers blacklist sellers.... just for themselves so they don't need to keep track of everybody you won't buy from... my list is pretty long ... keep it on a sheet of paper

Quote:I wish ebay would let buyers blacklist sellers Everyone has this capability. If you set up a vague saved search you can scroll down to "Show All" on the left task bar, select "See All" then "Seller". from there select "Only Show Items From" and then "Exclude" and insert the seller's user ID and click apply and save or update the saved search. I use this to weed out the sellers that constantly list a bunch of crap that clogs up my search results. And I'm guessing the coin is question is an altered O mint based on the date location..

thanks... I wish it was as easy as it is for a seller to block a buyer
