BadThad Bedrock of the Community United States 19961 Posts	Posted 03/24/2020 6:48 pm The first pics show nice luster but the light is too strong. You're almost there actually with your pictures. You just need to dial in the lighting. Suggest a white background, a piece of copy paper is best. It's impossible to mentally adjust your pictures for mental, white balance correcting with anything but white. The objective is a perpendicular picture and getting the lighting so it's not too much or too little. Try bring out the luster without too much light. Usually I use white background but didn't know it made a big difference. I recently started using copy paper which I will be going back to.
