Ha, you order me a keyboard, or send me the money for one. l wlll do the acetone soak, but your guess about "that stuff" belng gone by mornlng, do you mean the shlny or dull "stuff"? Whlch part do you thlnk was added to thls dlme?

The "dull" stuff is probably shellac or varnish someone put on it to keep it from tarnishing...
I actually have a signed baseball from the 1950's that someone varnished to preserve it... Looks like crap now...
Acetone should do the trick...
