With the grading services cracking down, the "Big 4" would likely say AT.
I could go either way, but the coat looks to be target toned.

I have never seen a cent with toning that looks like this, so I would guess AT.

Without the coin in hand, and without reverse pics, I would have to lean towards AT. Any chance of reverse pics?

The reverse is a light copper color, darker than the obverse.

BadThad, I'm between a rock, and a hard place! What is the question? "AT or NT"? Dick

hm... I used to do this to pennies by putting a shiny new one on top of my lamp. After a few days, the copper plating would go away and it would just be a zinc penny.

Metalman is my HERO! This is an AT coin by heat! I put this BU coin in an oven for a few minutes on broil. It came out with a rainbow of colors and some target type toning. This is my first time experimenting with an oven. It has made me VERY leary of any toned Lincolns. I think I'll put this in the window sill for a few months to see if it regains any natural look and perhaps conceal the AT a bit. I want to understand what the scammers and coin docs are doing to us collectors.

Thad,
I am kind of with you, after experimenting with MS70 and watching my coin that I was going to submit to PCGS turn blue, I am leery on some of my prized blue toned Lincolns. I will try and get some pics up this weekend on the before and after. What sucked with my experiment was I did a test coin and nothing happened to it, it actually looked better. I think I left it on to long and did not rinse it off good. Oh well, I ordered some more BU rolls from my seller and am hoping I get some of the same batch I had before.
PS, thanks for the advise on proofs, my computer and I are not seeing eye to eye right now(I think it hates me) so my emails have been limited.

You can achieve the same result on an induction stovetop for 20 seconds. MS70 will make it bluish purple or magenta, depending on the original color of the coin.

Not all purple and blue or magenta colors are AT . Thad you should have seen some of the dispicable things I have done to coins in pursuit of exactly the information and brain data that you are experimenting with right now . But there are examples of these colors which occur naturally but duplicating the process is more than likely not going to be something that can duplicated .

I'd like see more pictures and experiments. I think this is highly educational for collectors.
