Thanks so much. Is "polished" different from "whizzed" (which I believe is the same as "buffed")? Might this coin be whizzed?

For estimated value, I found a site that gives this coin a value of $180 in VF. How much would the "polished" detail generally reduce the value to sell?

Whizzed means to use a mechanical wire brush to shine a coin. Polished could be mechanical or by hand using different methods.

For estimated value on a details coin there is no straight line to arrive at value as there are a lot of variables. Ballpark reduction for a details coin around 50%.
