The first one has what looks like a 1 above the date.
The other penny looks lounge it's was struck on steel planchette? Discolored. Any help is appreciated.

First one is just a scratch.

Second one just looks like a badly damaged coin to me.

I bet you are using a camera phone to take you images. If so, that all the images with the bottom on the bottom position when taking images. If you take them with the button on the right, then they will be turned wrong when you post them. We are used to seeing the coin horizontal and the devices horizontal. But from the condition of the reverse, the area above the one is probably incuse. (below the fields) If so then it is just coin damage. Often referred to as a bag mark on the coin. Damage is not collectable. It lowers the value (if there any above face) to just face value.
