Hello! I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone could let me know if this coin has any value?

Yes, the 1888 is the lowest mintage year for this denomination, so it does have some value. It is hard to determine the quality from the photos, but I think $50 would be at the low end of a price range.

This would be the "book" or "catalogue" price. Check ebay to determine an actual sale price. Probably Danish collectors would pay more.

Hello,
I am from Denmark. This is the key date. In Denmark we grade coins much more conservative than in the US. The picture of the obverse is unclear, but this coin will much likely go as grade fine here, but the green spots makes it hard to sell.

I will say a value from $25-$40 will be correct. If the coin did not had those, I would have said about $50-$70.

Regards,
Palle, DK

These photos are a bit hard to grade from.
