Hi everyone, found this interestingly odd looking 1984 D a few weeks back whilst searching through a $25 box of Loomis rolls.
Posted it on two Fbook groups and although not receiving anywhere near the expected and/or satisfactory amount of comments/feedback or advise than l was hoping for, two gents believe that it seems to be a Doubled lip and could possibly be a new discovery and that l should send it in to third party for verification/grading which was good to hear.
Though l thought it would be best to share it here for what I'm sure will be some very sound opinions and advise from seasoned collectors.
Keen to hear what you guys make of it?

Thank you in advance for the help, much appreciated.

I agree. Just a well placed hit on that area. PSD (Post Strike Damage). Not a DDO.

with them.
I can see why it got your attention but the way the metal is raised on either side of the incuse depression indicates it is damaged from a hit.
