blargish Valued Member United States 178 Posts	Posted 03/31/2020 11:50 pm I was browsing ebay the other day and was startled to come across this unattributed listing from the Ships Colonies & Commerce series. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Prince-Edw...047675.l2557 Yep, a Lees 33 (VF I'd say) was just sitting out there listed as any other Ships token. I had my fingers crossed that I was the only one that had stumbled across this, but it looks like a few other people had the same idea as the bidding quickly shot out of my college student-limited budget in the final 10 seconds! At ~400 bucks, I'm pretty sure the winning bidder was more than happy with that! Coupled with an unattributed Lees 22 I saw a few weeks ago (it sold for just over 100 but was pretty dinged up), it's pretty neat to see that such rarities are up for grabs, and still floating around without attribution. Even (not allowed to be mentioned) can't bid that quickly. 1856 bid at :39:10 and only once. This bid surpassed the then leader at $167.50 Two seconds later the winning bid was placed surpassing and revealing 1856's one and only maximum bid of $388.88 "Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website Report this Post to the Staff
