I have found a coin minted in 1927 that has a hole in center. Cant tell if it was minted this way. It has big numbers 10 then C in center with letters mes inside the C. Above this is Leberte Egale across top, then Faternite just below that (some spelling may be wrong hard to see). At the bottom is the date 1927. Opposite side has letters RF or BF (hard to tell) in the center. Appears to be copper. Any idea what this is?

Sounds French to me. Cmes. would be an abbreviation for centimes.
RF = Republique Francais.

Perhaps if you could post a picture of the front/back of this coin perhaps a better answer could be provided...

France 10 centimes 1927, KM# 866a, mintage 16 million. The hole is supposed to be there.
It's also supposed to be made of cupronickel, so if it looks coppery then something chemically nasty must have happened to it to suck all the nickel off the surface.

Carebearkat: it depends where you are. If you're American, then you presumably mean the Indian Head cent like the one pictured above by Becky. 1885 is one of the scarcer dates; catalogue value a few dollars, even in pretty crummy condition. Typically $10 to $20, I would expect? If you're from outside North America, then you presumably mean a British penny (practically no-one else was making "pennies" in the 1880's). The Krause catalogue value for these is US$2 to US$10 in typical low grade; if it's worn nearly flat, it may be worth less than that, but maybe more than that if it's unusually well preserved.

Ageka The bird is a Malleefowl, 2005. Australia, Rare Australian Birds series. This series has a $150 and $200 Gold coins. Actual mintages for these coins (from the mint report) are 700 for the $150 coin and 400 for the $200 coin. It did have a "mintage limit of 2,500" but did not sell well. Issue price for the $150 coin was $450, and Issue price for the $200 coin was $650. This was the second of a three coin series.

Thank you It did not show up on any Australian nor New Zealand searches so I feared it was from one of those tiny islands
