2009-P District Of Columbia Quarter Question?

Hail24 Valued Member United States 155 Posts	Posted 04/02/2020 12:39 am Hello fellas how is everyone? I know you all missed me last night which was my first night not asking a question for a week. Anyway I was back at it tonight and found this 2009P quarter and I know the District of Columbia have doubling issues in this same spot. Mine does not look like any of the examples that are in the Strike It Rich book but still would like to know why the quarter looks like it does. I had 8 other 2009Ps and none of them had anything like this. Any information would be great guys and thanks in advance! Report this Post to the Staff

Hail24 Valued Member United States 155 Posts	Posted 04/02/2020 02:11 am It doesn't look like damage honestly but then again that is why I came to you guys the actual experts. Would be a hard place to get damage like that without leaving proof other marks. When I look at it under the microscope it looks like there are 3 lines converging coming from the elbow, and the bottom left hand corner of the 2 Ls. I have no idea what it is just weird it happens in the same spot all the DDO are in. Not saying that is what it is but something is going on there. Report this Post to the Staff

It does match the cuff on the hand on that area. The only thing I could think of, is maybe a dropped device fill?
