1993 P 1980 P 2001 P Would these dimes be considered error coins? If so, what kind? Broad strike? Off center? Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I don't think a broadstruck coin that normally has reeding on the edge would have reeding showing. The lack of having the third die, the collar involved in the striking process, is what causes a Broadstrike error.
The fact they have a reeded edge eliminates them from being broadstrikes. The definition of a broadstrike is a coin struck without the collar being present. The reeded edge shows the collar was present.
