Hello everyone,

My grandpa left behind a bunch of rolls of 1955-S BUNCH wheats, and I am trying to get as much value out of them as possible. I have looked through a few and found a few gradeables, a couple of RPMs, BIEs, and a few die cracks.

I would like to hear about all of your methods for searching through rolls of pennies, and also the coolest thing you have found while searching through rolls of pennies.

Thank you everyone for reading, looking forward to the responses!

For a coin to be worth getting graded it need a retail value after slabbing of at least $150. Post pics before you send any in,it could save you a bunch of money.

Follow up to this, what is the best way to store coins that I think are of very high grade? I currently have them flipped in the cardboard holders.

2x2 staple type holders are fine and the higher valued ones you can put in an Air-Tite capsule.

Personally,I wouldn't search them. Chances of there being anything worthwhile in the rolls is pretty much zero, and individually they are not worth much and would take forever to sell. but as a BU bank roll there are treasure hunters out there with stars in their eyes that will pay more then the rolls are worth just so they can search them and get stuck with a lot of low cost unsalable coins. I'd take their money.
