1905 Toned Indian Head Cent / IHC ~~added 2 Photos 10/31

desertgem Pillar of the Community United States 860 Posts	Posted 10/30/2008 12:53 am Hi, I would appreciate grade/comments on this 1905 IHC. There are 2 sets of photo for the same coin. Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6386 Posts	Posted 10/30/2008 10:05 am Hi Jim, It's an attractive IHC with a smooth cheek, fairly sharp strike, and no serious marks or carbon spots. Color is Red-Brown and it appears uncirculated. I can't really see the luster and that makes it difficult to assign a number. It could grade anywhere from MS-60 to MS-64 depending on the luster quality. Report this Post to the Staff

Interesting how Rick Snow tends to place RB IHCs higher than MS60; here I'll also guess MS63RB+ Snow puts a market price on MS63RB at $60 and MS64RB at $120 -- big difference!
