Hi,
I would appreciate grade/comments on this 1905 IHC. There are 2 sets of photo for the same coin. Top one is flat lighting for marks, second one I hope shows the luster. Thanks

Jim

Great looking coin, I'd call it MS-64.

Hi Jim,
It's an attractive IHC with a smooth cheek, fairly sharp strike, and no serious marks or carbon spots. Color is Red-Brown and it appears uncirculated. I can't really see the luster and that makes it difficult to assign a number. It could grade anywhere from MS-60 to MS-64 depending on the luster quality.

Beautiful coin! I just don't have any MS IHCs to comment from personal experience.
Interesting how Rick Snow tends to place RB IHCs higher than MS60; here I'll also guess MS63RB+
Snow puts a market price on MS63RB at $60 and MS64RB at $120 -- big difference!
