This is definitely MD, Alex. Look at the way the devices have been narrowed by the doubling. When a die is doubled, it creates additional negative space on the die, which enlarges/widens the devices on the struck coin. On the other hand, when you get MD, part of the raised material is simply flattened, which narrows the highest points of the devices. I'm not an expert myself, but I can tell you that John is very knowledgable and has answered many of my own questions. You'd do well to learn from the experts here rather than insist that the coin is what you think it is regardless of what they say.

I'm sorry, but thisis all Machine Doubling, not a Doubled Die. You should just listen to us, we are correct. It might not be want you want to hear, but you have to accept it. Otherwise, you're not going to learn.
