A Cud is caused by part of the die breaking off the edge, which leaves a raised area with no image at the rim of the coin. This is just a coin that someone has mangled with a power tool or something.

to the CCF!

This could be damage from a washer or dryer if the coin was caught and pinned under moving parts.
ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

Very severe case of Post Strike Damage ( PSD). Not an error coin. Damaged.

For reference, this is a Cud. http://cuds-on-coins.com/lincoln-cent-cuds-1982/
