I'm trying to pare-down some of the clutter in my dad's old collection, and part of that has been removing dozens of minor die chip wheat cents from 2x2's, to either throw in with my general population of wheat cents or to put in their own tube. Most of them are either B/E chips or small chips on the date or other devices. I've posted an example below for reference. Any reason to keep these aside, or just toss 'em in with the regular wheat cents? (Note: sentimental value is not an issue, since all the important parts of the collection are still preserved, and my dad is alive, he just gave me his collection years ago when I was a kid)

Hey Sam,

I have seen many "BIE" die chips sell on ebay for $10-$15. There is a market for these, so I think you should consider listing them. Starting bid of ~$4.99 should be good.

I'd be skeptical of those ebay listings, yung. Not saying they don't sell, but I think these are mostly cases of unscrupulous sellers taking advantage of new collectors rather than a reflection of the actual scarcity of the coins.

I would put them in a tube and sell them on ebay. There's still a small premium for the "BIES". People do collect them. I collect "BIES". Just carefully state what they are and you'll be good.

Good to know, Errers, I'll set them aside!
