Hi,

I have a 1990D dime that has weird coloring and I thought it might be an error. Could someone explain? Also, would it have any value?

Just another coin suffering from environmental damage. I would suggest reading up on what the main types of error/die varieties actually are. It will save you a lot of time to not have to wonder whether every dinged up coin you encounter might be an error.

Your title reads penny and you are showing a dime. Also the U.S.A. have cents not pennies.

With rust stains like that on the surface of this dime, my bet is that it spent some time in a fountain. It looks kinda cool, but is only worth face value.

Right, some foreign substance has adhered to the coin. Spend it.

Just extreme Environmental Damage. PSD. Not an error coin. I would say it's time to read up on actual errors/varieties. All of the coins you've posted are just damaged coins. Go to this site. http://www.error-ref.com
