Hi, I'm Mike and I'm new to the scene. Out of Borden having to social distance myself I started looking through my loose change and researching them which is where I found this site. Google search engine to be specific. I came across a weird marking on a 1983 Lincoln memorial that looks to be a date? The date is between the the and fourth pillar On the obverse side moving left to right. And help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome!

And that's the reverse. The obverse is the side that usually has a bust or something like that. With Lincoln cents, the bust of Lincoln is on the obverse and the Lincoln Memorial, a pair of wheat stalks, or a shield (except for a few specialty commemorative issues) is the reverse.
