Thanks all for taking the time. I will continue to look up tokens from Galway city for a match. If you have a moment there is something else I found. And I don't know if it's a token, coin or button. I think it has written on it PLATED and two zeros and a small Cross with 50 in the middle. There is nothing on the other side
the above is a typical cast brass flat button that was gilt or silver plated..dates early 1800s to about mid century...most likely British manufactured
Thank you Ironhorse. I ment to include the fact that it had what I can only describe as a nipple in the middle but seem to have figured that out. Great work. I will try and find more details now I Know what it is
