VAMit New Member United States 21 Posts	Posted 10/31/2008 2:13 pm Hi my name is Zac and I'm a VAM-aholic LOL I know this is not the welcoming section or new members section but I only signed up for this forum for the Morgan dollar section and the VAM section so I thought I would say "Hi" to everyone in this section. Like the subject line says, I am the ultimate newbie. I am new to this forum and new to coin collecting as well. I quit drinking about 10 months ago and this seems to be a good sober hobby for me. So far I love it! For now I am sticking to Morgans as my coin of choice, and have collected a couple dozen of them in the last month. I have already found several VAMs and looking to find more all the time. Once I figure out this USB microscope, I have a couple I hope you guys might be able to help me figure out. There aer 2 that I cant find the VAM number on but are obviously VAMS. With all of that said, Hi everyone! Report this Post to the Staff

Every Morgan and Peace dollar is a VAM so we know every one you have is some sort of VAM, it may be a VAM-1 (made with regular dies) or any number above that. If you can take detailed pictures of Obverse and Reverse and anything that looks abnormal to you we have some very knowledgeable VAMers on this board that I am sure will be able to help you in your quest to attribute the coins you already have and the ones you acquire in the future. I also want to say congratulations on the quitting drinking and I think you chose a noble and enjoyable hobby to spend your time and money on Report this Post to the Staff
