Hi so have alot of couns I have been saving about 4 years now on Oct 21,2015 I was told I had hours maybe days to live. With that said I'm on oxygen with no hope of returning to my fun waitress/bartender life and here I
am. So time I have. I would like to know since I only get to look through circulated coins and Bill's first question is wha coinage are going to being me cash that are in range 1955-99 quarters first please and I get that Bill's must be crisp and new looking so when does it not matter( on highly circulated collectables)

I am so sorry to hear that! Who told you you have hours or days to live? Are you in the hospital! Do you have Coronavirus? Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

If your focus is going to be on your quarters from 1955 to 1998, you could sort out the know key dates and learn what makes it key. You could then post a picture asking for help identifying a particular quarter. For example: Let's say starting with just the silver content quarters of your coins (1955 to 1964D) you break it down by key date varieties: 64, 64D, 63, 63D, 62, 62D, 61, 61D, 60, 59, 59D, 58, 57, 57D, 56, 56D, You will then learn what makes one of these years key.

Great reward is always disguised by hard work. The quick return is to sell for silver value. To maximize your return, you need to know what you have. (date, mint, condition, variety, errors?)

I was told by a hospital doctor that on Oct 21,2015 blood clots were the beginning my lung is still doubled in size and have end stage COPD, Edema,Congestive heart I could keep going but here to talk about money only God knows when that time is. Ok My questions in my mind are clear then I read answers I feel stupid. Ok to be a bit more clear are there particular error coins that are still in circulation that I should pay special attention for I'm on disability and poor I dont go buying them I just look through mine or pennie/coin jars nothing major just trying to get some shopping money it's the pits these days
If I could put the hard work in it would being what I loved doing. It wasnt this I just put it in jars. If theres no answer ok God bless Thank each of you for your time...oh yeh do Bill's have to look new to have value?

I have some resources that you might find helpful.

www.doubleddie.com
www.coppercoins.com
www.varietyvista.com

All 3 of these sites are for varieties such as Doubled Dies, RePunched Mintmarks, Transitional varieties, etc.

This website is for the different types of errors.
www.error-ref.com

Anyways, I am very sorry to hear about what you're going through! My prayers are with you.

Hang in there.

There are lots of the clad quarters that are scarce and desirable in circulation. I would suggest the first thing you do in by a folder to hold them and start saving the least worn and best made coins you can find. This will give you a reference set for comparison with new coins you find. It will also provide a good overview of tough dates and how coins are distributed. I find a lot of fun and satisfaction searching quarters in circulation. I used to promote these coins and am in the process of selling them now due to age and health. The ones I'm selling are mostly better dates and Gems but I get as much enjoyment finding a nice attractive 1969 in F as I do getting off another shipment.

Varieties can be still found and few are looking.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.
